Guangzhou Resort Lobby is a concept design and feasibility study for a hospitality interior. The scope addresses a double-height lobby within a resort building shell with fixed structural spans and service zones. The programme includes arrival, lounge seating, dining spill-out, and event support areas. Design Consultant Group led interior architectural concept development, spatial planning, and coordination of materials, lighting, and fixed elements.

Planning is structured along a longitudinal axis to organise movement and visual alignment. Public circulation is prioritised through layered thresholds and controlled transparency. Sectional strategy defines a double-height atrium with clear separation between circulation, seating, and service zones. Vertical proportion and enclosure are calibrated to support variable occupancy and operational peaks. Systems integration accommodates lighting, screening, and acoustic control without compromising spatial order.

Lobby Atrium / Arrival

The interior envelope is derived from axial planning and sectional height. Full-height glazing aligns with primary circulation and perimeter conditions. Vertical framing follows structural and planning grids.

At ground level, the arrival sequence is direct and legible. Seating layouts maintain clear sightlines and unobstructed routes. Public access and service movement are separated. The space supports continuous operation under varying occupancy conditions.
