Project

Lanna International School Phase 2 is a concept design and feasibility study for campus expansion in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai. The site comprises an existing educational campus with defined access points, security requirements, and phased growth constraints. The programme includes additional teaching blocks, shared academic facilities, and outdoor learning areas. Design Consultant Group led master planning, architectural concept development, and feasibility analysis.

Planning is organised through academic clustering around shared outdoor space. Circulation hierarchy separates pedestrian movement from service and vehicular access. Massing is low-rise and distributed to maintain supervision and clear wayfinding. Sectional strategy supports covered circulation, daylight access, and climatic protection. Phasing is embedded within the planning grid to allow uninterrupted school operation during future construction.

Campus Heart / Learning Landscape

The spatial centre is formed by a courtyard with integrated water and terraced landscape. Building edges define enclosure and maintain sightlines across the space. Shaded walkways align with primary circulation routes.

Ground conditions prioritise pedestrian safety and passive supervision. Access between buildings is direct and unobstructed. Service routes are segregated. The public interface remains controlled within the campus boundary.
