Project

Le Méridien Spa is a concept-stage interior architecture proposal developed for a hospitality spa environment. The project scope includes interior planning, material coordination, and feasibility assessment within an existing hotel shell. The programme comprises reception, waiting areas, treatment rooms, and staff support spaces. Design Consultant Group led the architectural concept and interior spatial coordination.

Planning is organised through a sequential layout from arrival to treatment zones. Circulation is linear and controlled. Public, semi-private, and private areas are clearly zoned. Sectional coordination addresses ceiling services, acoustic separation, and lighting integration. Operational routes for staff are separated from guest circulation. Material assemblies support hygiene, durability, and maintenance requirements.

Reception / Arrival

The interior envelope is derived from circulation alignment and functional thresholds. Vertical timber screening defines spatial boundaries while permitting visual continuity. Stone elements provide durable work surfaces and structural clarity. Lighting systems are integrated within ceiling and joinery zones.

At entry, a single reception counter establishes orientation. Guest access is direct and unobstructed. Waiting areas are screened from treatment circulation. Back-of-house access is concealed. The arrival condition maintains operational control and spatial legibility.
