Role

Status
Ongoing
Location
Mae Rim, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Project
The Consulate Clubhouse is an ongoing commercial and interior development in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai. The site is a standalone plot with controlled perimeter access and defined approach. The programme comprises lounge areas, bar facilities, private seating rooms, and supporting service spaces. Design Consultant Group is delivering full-scope architectural and interior services, including authority coordination and construction delivery.
Planning is organised to maintain controlled access and internal zoning. Public approach, member circulation, and service routes are clearly separated. Massing is compact and symmetrical. Sectional organisation accommodates varied ceiling heights across lounge and bar areas while maintaining back-of-house efficiency. Circulation is legible and enclosed. Operational control and privacy are maintained throughout.
Façade / Arrival
The façade composition is structured around a central entrance aligned with the primary axis. Fenestration follows a regular rhythm derived from the internal planning grid. Canopy depth provides weather protection and solar control. Structural and envelope systems are coordinated for durability and maintenance.
At ground level, the arrival sequence is direct and controlled. Access points are limited and clearly defined. External lighting and signage are integrated within the façade system. Service access is segregated from member entry. Public interface remains contained and orderly.
