The Golden Triangle
Role
Full Scope Design and Construction
Status
Completed
Location
Hangdong, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Project
The Golden Triangle is a completed commercial and interior development in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai. The site occupies a roadside urban parcel with direct public frontage and service access to the rear. The programme comprises commercial units, shared circulation, and interior fit-out works. Design Consultant Group delivered full-scope architectural services, including concept development, detailed design, interior coordination, and construction delivery.
Planning is organised as a compact linear arrangement addressing the street edge. Massing is disciplined and consistent across the frontage. Sectional coordination integrates roof structure, colonnaded circulation, and service zones. Circulation is direct and legible. Structural systems and material assemblies prioritise constructability, durability, and operational efficiency. Interior planning aligns with shell geometry to maintain spatial clarity and servicing control.
Façade / Arrival
The façade is structured through a continuous colonnade aligned with the primary circulation zone. Repetitive arched openings establish module rhythm and frontage scale. Façade geometry follows the structural grid and roof profile.
At ground level, the colonnade defines a sheltered public interface. Entry points are clearly expressed. Lighting is integrated within architectural elements to support orientation and safety. Service access is separated from public movement. The street interface remains controlled and consistent.
