Project

B2 Khon Kaen Premier Hotel is a completed mid-rise hospitality development in Mueang Khon Kaen. The site is an urban plot with defined street frontage and surrounding mixed-use context. The programme comprises guest accommodation above a ground-level public and service podium. Design Consultant Group was appointed for full architectural services, including statutory approvals and construction coordination.

Planning is organised around a rational structural grid supporting modular guestroom layouts. Vertical circulation is compact and centrally aligned. Accommodation floors are stacked efficiently above public and operational functions. Massing responds to plot constraints and adjacent building heights. Sectional coordination supports daylight penetration, servicing efficiency, and separation of guest and service movement. Material systems and detailing prioritise durability and maintenance over the building lifecycle.

Urban Massing / Public Interface

The envelope is derived from the accommodation module and structural bay spacing. Façade planes and window proportions establish controlled articulation and scale. Repetition supports construction efficiency and façade maintenance.

At ground level, a glazed podium defines the public interface and arrival sequence. Access is direct and legible from the street. Lobby visibility supports orientation and passive surveillance. Service access is segregated from guest entry. The street edge remains clear and ordered.
