Role
Full Scope Design and Construction
Status
Completed
Location
Hangdong, Chiang Mai, Thailand
Project
Bali Thai Resort is a completed low-rise hospitality development in Hang Dong, Chiang Mai. The site comprises a landscaped plot with internal courtyards and water features. The programme includes guest accommodation, shared facilities, and service areas arranged at grade. Design Consultant Group delivered full architectural services, including concept design, detailed design, consultant coordination, and construction delivery through completion.
Planning is organised around a series of courtyards and water bodies to structure circulation and environmental control. Accommodation blocks and common facilities are distributed to maintain clear movement paths and operational separation. Massing remains low-rise to manage scale and integrate with landscape. Sectional organisation supports shading, natural ventilation, and efficient servicing. Structural systems and material assemblies are standardised across buildings to support constructability and maintenance.
Arrival / Built Frontage
The built frontage is defined by a consistent roof structure and masonry wall system. Deep eaves provide solar and rain protection. Roof profiles follow repetitive structural bays.
The forecourt establishes a controlled transition between site access and internal circulation. Arrival, orientation, and distribution occur within a defined external space. Planting and pedestrian paths are coordinated to maintain clear sightlines. Service access is segregated from guest approach.
