Project
Lakeside Wellness Resort is a proposed hospitality development in Doi Saket, Chiang Mai. The site comprises a lakeside plot with variable ground levels and defined water edges. The programme includes guest accommodation, wellness facilities, and shared communal functions. Design Consultant Group was commissioned for full architectural services, including master planning, detailed design, and statutory approvals.
The master plan is organised as a low-rise arrangement distributed across landscaped zones. Accommodation, wellness, and communal uses are structured around water bodies and planted corridors. Pedestrian circulation is prioritised through shaded routes. Planning establishes graded privacy, operational clarity, and separation between guest and service movement. Sectional coordination addresses passive cooling, flood mitigation, and phased construction within a consistent structural framework.
Elevation / Public Realm / Edge Condition
Building envelopes are derived from pavilion-scale sections and repetitive structural systems. Low-rise massing maintains horizontal continuity along the lake edge. Roof forms and overhangs address solar exposure and rainfall while accommodating services.
The lakeside ground condition is resolved through a continuous promenade linking communal facilities. Finished levels manage access and maintain uninterrupted views. Stone edging and integrated planting stabilise the shoreline. Service access is routed away from the public edge. Circulation remains controlled and legible across the site.
