Project

MHS Resort is a completed hospitality development in Mae Sariang, Mae Hong Son. The site is defined by sloping terrain, rural context, and seasonal climatic exposure. The programme comprises guest accommodation and shared amenities distributed across the site. Design Consultant Group provided full architectural services, including concept development, detailed design, and statutory approvals.

The master plan is organised as a series of detached pavilion buildings arranged to follow site contours. Planning supports phased construction and clear separation between guest, service, and operational circulation. Structural systems are standardised across pavilions to simplify construction and maintenance. Sectional strategies address cross-ventilation, rainfall management, and thermal moderation. Circulation is resolved externally between pavilions, reducing enclosed conditioned space.

Elevation / Structure / Construction

Building envelopes are derived from repetitive pavilion sections and roof structures. Pitched roof assemblies with extended eaves provide solar control and rain protection. Structural grids permit wide openings for daylight and ventilation. Roof geometry accommodates drainage and servicing.

Pavilions are raised on elevated plinths to manage site gradients and flood risk. Finished floor levels establish clear thresholds between interior spaces and landscape. Service access is separated from guest movement. External circulation remains legible and unobstructed.
