The Project

Hyparc Hangdong is a mid-rise residential project which combines a disciplined grid of structures with resort type spatial planning to provide high quality living environment. Our comprehensive scope commission provided a fully technical continuum on our concept to construction, which has led to a modern condominium with strong construction quality and operational sustainability.

The architectural identity is expressed in terms of rhythmic balconies and integrated landscape systems that bring the project to a higher stage in its market presence as well as residential functionality.

The Arrival Sequence

This accomplished arrival sequence illustrates a planned interface of the public and the domestic residential areas, in which architecture and landscape are combined to form a readable and safe entry point. The structure employs material changes that are deliberate and the use of strategic vegetation to ease the mass of the structure, and the sense of transition is still clear on the ground level.

By means of controlled failures and accurate use of signage, the design creates a structured image of the street-front, which solidifies the identity and urban legibility of the project.
