The Project

Mountain Loft Condominium is a mid rise residential project located in Suthep, Chiang Mai, designed as a strategic urban advantage reacting to the topography and microclimate specifics of the location. The architectural design employs the linear residential blocks based on the central biophilic court, which incorporates passive solar shades and natural ventilation to maximize the performance of the environment.

The project provides a sustainable, site-oriented residential project that responds to the needs of tropical living through rigorous facade articulation and quality material choice.

The Masterplan

The massing plan, as depicted in the masterplan, incorporates a strategy of massing residential wings, which are used to outline a central landscape sanctuary and frame the mountain range of Suthep. The heights of buildings and the proportions of their structures are adjusted with a balance between the densities and the human experience of the ground level.

The plan values the importance of pedestrian connectivity by limiting vehicular movement to the site periphery, and provides continuity of the environment across the entire communal areas.
