The Project

Palm Garden is a mid-rise residential project located in Santitham, Chiang Mai, which was executed as a whole project including the architectural design and the management of all statutory approvals. The project is also an experiment in effective urban massing, with climatic facade controls and high-yield unit planning used to achieve the maximum site potential.

The design is designed to provide long term residential sustainability in a high-density urban setting by incorporating natural day lighting systems and softscape with the internal circulation.

The Interior & Interface

The lobby is designed as an open area of passage between the exterior street environment and the interior of the residence, the orientation being established with the use of a double height volume and a framed entry portal. The scale of the spatial design is based on a balanced lighting plan to define scale and the perception of arrival to both residents and visitors.

The material specifications emphasize the structural durability, lifecycle maintenance, which in turn assist in the efficient long-term operation and ensuring the refined architectural identity of the project on the ground level.
