The Project

The Levelz Residences is a completed mid-rise condominium, located in Chang Phueak, Chiang Mai and carried out under an overall architectural commission that had oversight of the entire project since the concept to the technical delivery of the project. The architecture is based on the modular system of facades expressed in timber-colored elements and deep-plan balconies to support passive climatic regulation and structural rhythm.

The combination of shared facilities and strategic landscaping enables the project to offer a high performance urban living, which balances density and residential wellbeing.

The Architecture & Context

This view depicts the way the building fits into its established urban context, with the massing of steps and proportionality of the mid-rise form. The disciplined grid of the balcony is softened by the deliberate contrasts in the materials and incorporated greenery, and the effect is the dissection of the building volume to the residential scale.

This architectural composition supports the identity of this project as a sophisticated modern landmark, which has a stable, formal relationship with the surrounding Chang Phueak neighborhood.
