The Project

The One Chiang Mai is a middle-rise residential project designed with a core biophilic central courtyard to focus on climatic awareness and unit planning focused on high-efficiency. The scope of our engagement was in the entire project life cycle, which included the original conceptualization to the actual construction and handover, which would be in full adherence to the original architectural purpose.

The resulting design maximizes the footprint of the building to develop a stratified amenity sequence to balance private residential needs with quality communal spaces.

The Courtyard

This central courtyard has been done as the environmental and social hub of the project, with the application of a tiered pool and terrace to enable natural ventilation and daylighting through all residential blocks. Spatial arrangement makes use of thoughtfully scaled landscape features to temper the building sizes and smooth out the building facades, making the microclimate calm and temperate to occupants.

The combination of water effects and green landscapes helps the design create a resort level ambience that improves the overall market position and the residential ambience of the project.
