The Project

Fah Luang Villas is a completed low-rise residential site in San Kamphaeng, Chiang Mai that is characterized by a distinct architectural vernacular that rises up through various units. This design approach balances the presence of buildings with stringent levels of street level, privacy of the occupants, and sensitivity to climatic conditions.

Our full-scope appointment covered the work of architectural design to technical coordination and delivery of construction to guarantee the quality of structural buildings, efficiency in repetition, and high-performance residential villas.


The Typology & Streetscape

The villa elevation in pairs illustrates the modular residential typology in the project, which takes advantage of the planning in symmetries to simplify the construction process and offer a clear separation of entry sequences, car parking, and personal outdoor areas.

The balconies at the upper level are designed in a way that they offer the much-needed solar shading and articulation of the facade, which effectively sub-divides the mass of the building and allows natural cross-ventilation. This rhythm composition will provide a harmonious and orderly streetscape that supports the modernity of the project.
