The Project

Hyluxe Residences An extensive project is an accomplished private villa development in Mae Rim featuring disciplined massing, precision of facade depth and high performance climatic detailing. The masterplan lays out single villas with private pool courts and landscaped vacuoles which are well balanced with occupant privacy and natural day lighting and cross-ventilation.

The project creates a sense of unity in the residential identity through a uniform architectural language throughout the site, which reacts to the environmental and aesthetic needs of the Mae Rim valley.

The Architectural Elevation

The front elevation depicts strict formal discipline, with the help of a solid rendered base, the upper volume, which is lighter, is covered by vertical screening fins. This material approach, coupled with recessed entry sequences and overhangs that are deep cantilevered, is necessary in terms of offering the necessary solar shading and thermal defense to the interior spaces.

Transitions and embedded lighting are used to emphasize the depth of the structure, promoting the presence of a sophisticated, modern expression that allows the architectural articulation to prevail even at the smaller scale.
