The Project

Miville Residences is a completed low-rise project in Hangdong that is structured as clusters of small villas through an incredibly controlled masterplan. The project is a synthesis of disciplined modern massing, along with strategic landscape buffers as well as in-house circulation network to provide the maximum individual privacy and climatic effectiveness of all dwelling typologies.

The spatial structure has resulted to the fact that day lighting and ventilation is given high priority without compromising the operational integrity and security of the residential community.

The Arrival Sequence

The main entrance is designed in such a way that it creates a distinguishable boundary between the open street and the domestic space. Structural canopy is linear and there is a layered gate functions that are used to control the vehicular movement and allows visual permeability and site-line continuity.

The arrival court is characterized by a very specific blend of hardscape and softscape, which perimeter the views of the internal streetscape and supports a reserved and professional architectural identity at the point of entry.
